1 cup brown sugar
½ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp water
Optional: dash of cayenne pepper for an extra kick
Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt & Combine
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and let it melt.
Stir in the brown sugar, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and water. Mix until well combined and slightly bubbling.
Coat the Nuts
Add the mixed nuts to the saucepan and stir thoroughly until they are evenly coated in the spiced mixture.
Bake
Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for about 15–20 minutes, stirring once or twice to ensure even roasting and coating.
Cool & Serve
Remove from the oven and allow the nuts to cool completely on the baking sheet, they will crisp up as they cool.
Once fully cooled, break apart any clusters and serve immediately, or store in an airtight container.
