3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
 ½ cup of Bassé Nuts walnuts, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter 
1 cup sugar 
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla 
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt 
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour


  1. Preheat oven to 175 C
  2. Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl
  3. Add butter and sugar to mixture
  4. Add egg and vanilla to mixture
  5. Add baking soda and salt, mix
  6. Add flour to mixture, mix 
  7. Add Bassé Nuts walnuts, mix
  8. Pour into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan
  9. Bake for 1 hour
  10. Cool on a rack
  11. Remove from pan and slice to serve
