INGREDIENTS:

1 x 500 g bag Bassé Brazil Nuts (about 3 cups), roasted
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
A pinch of sea salt

METHOD:

1. Add the Brazil nuts into a food processor and blend for about 5 minutes, or until a smooth butter forms, scraping the side of the processor with a spatula as needed. As you process the nuts, they will go from whole, to meal, to clumps, and finally to a smooth butter.

2. Once creamy, add the maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla and sea salt and pulse to combine.

TO ROAST BRAZIL NUTS:

Pre-heat oven to 350F. Spread the nuts out evenly on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Roast for 12 minutes or until lightly golden and fragrant, stirring once halfway through cooking time.
