RECIPE: PUMPKIN SOUP

Pumpkin season is in full swing and for the occasion, we have created a simple and delicious soup for you!

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons olive oil ⁣
1 medium yellow onion, very finely chopped (sautéed if you want extra flavour) ⁣
3 cloves garlic, grated ⁣
1 can pumpkin purée ⁣
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, plus more for serving ⁣
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt ⁣
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin ⁣
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper ⁣
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger ⁣
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper ⁣
2 cups of water or vegetable broth ⁣
2 tablespoons of maple syrup Toasted #bassénuts pumpkin seeds, for serving. ⁣

ORGANIC PUMPKIN SEEDS /  RAW PUMPKIN SEEDS

METHOD:

1. Mix the ingredients over medium heat and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

2. Use a handheld blender until your preferred consistency.

3. Top each soup with toasted #bassénuts pumpkin seeds.
